Commissioner Antonesia "Toni" Wiley

Toni Wiley (she/her) currently serves as the Senior Director of Congressional Advocacy at the National Urban League. In this role, she spearheads advocacy campaigns, leads grassroots activations, and trains the Urban League Movement to be effective agents for change at all levels of government.

Prior to joining the National Urban League, Toni managed compliance for American Red Cross Biomedical's blood and transfusion services. Her background in public health and humanitarian services has equipped her with the knowledge and skills to tackle complex challenges for communities in need.  

Toni's dedication to public service extends beyond professional endeavors. She was recently appointed as a Commissioner on the D.C. Commission on Human Rights, where she works to foster a just and inclusive environment for all who live, work, and visit the District of Columbia. Toni also serves as a board member for The Undivide Project, an organization on the frontlines of the intersection of climate justice and the digital divide. Toni has volunteered with American Red Cross Disaster Services, served on the board of the UAB Minority Health & Equity Research Center, and worked on the social justice transition team for Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin. Toni's commitment to public service has been recognized with awards from the Points of Light Foundation and the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute.

Toni is a native of Birmingham, AL and a proud alumna of Georgetown University and The George Washington University. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, good food, documentaries, and cheering on her favorite sports teams.
