D.C.: A Model for Human and Civil Rights Protections

2022 marks the 45th anniversary of the D.C. Human Rights Act of 1977. It was and remains one of the most comprehensive human rights laws in the United States. The HRA reflects D.C.’s tradition of being a leader and a model for the protections of human and civil rights.
