The Attorney‑Drafted Charges Program Guidance

The updated Attorney-Drafted Charges guidance document explains OHR’s role in reviewing Initial Written Complaints, conducting Intake Interviews, and more.

Respectful Conduct Required

OHR does not tolerate abusive, harassing, or threatening conduct toward its staff. Such behavior may result in removal from the premises, restricted access to services, dismissal of a case, or legal action.

Source of Income Discrimination Is Prohibited

Under the DC Human Rights Act, housing providers may not deny housing based on how you pay rent -including through Housing Choice Vouchers, SSI, or other forms of rental assistance. Learn more in the full notice.
