Commissioner Jordyn White 

Jordyn White is Vice President of Strategic Outreach & Training at the Human Rights Campaign, where she leads national initiatives focused on storytelling, leadership development, and narrative change across LGBTQ+ communities. Her work has centered on advancing transgender justice, HIV prevention and PrEP access, LGBTQ+ inclusion on HBCU campuses, and leadership development within BIPOC LGBTQ+ communities.

Jordyn brings more than 20 years of experience in research, public policy, advocacy, and community leadership. Earlier in her career, she served as a methodologist at the U.S. Census Bureau and a study director at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, conducting and overseeing research on complex social policy issues, including criminal justice, health, and LGBTQ+ well-being.

Jordyn is also co-founder and General Manager of the Washington Prodigy women’s tackle football team, where she has spent more than a decade building community, developing leaders, and creating opportunities in women’s sports. She serves on the boards of Go Play DC and Rainbow Families and has been a member of the D.C. Mayor’s Advisory Committee on LGBTQ Affairs.

Jordyn is committed to advancing human rights and building a District where every resident can live, work, and participate fully and with dignity.
