Commissioner Jasminelee Scott

Ms. Jasminelee Scott currently serves as a Community Support Worker at the Healthy Place. Ms. Scott brings a wealth of experience and passion to the table, with a diverse background spanning education, emergency services, community engagement, and nonprofit initiatives. With a strong commitment to serving others, Ms. Scott has dedicated their career to making positive impact in the Washington DC area.

Ms. Scott began her professional journey in 2014 at the D.C Fire and EMS Department, where she served as a Firefighter and EMT. Over the years, she has honed her skills and expertise, eventually transitioning to the Bellevue Family Success Center, where she provided direct support to individuals and families in the community.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Ms. Scott is deeply committed to giving back to the community. She has been actively involved in community outreach activities and volunteering with various nonprofit organizations and small businesses in DC, working tirelessly to uplift and empower underserved individuals and families. Moreover, Ms. Scott is currently spearheading efforts to establish a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting youth and families in the District, driven by their unwavering belief in the power of community driven solutions.

A Ward 8 resident, Ms. Scott is currently studying Health Services Management at Trinity Washington University.
