Human Rights Liaison Training 2.0

The Office of Human Rights is excited to announce the Human Rights Liaison Training Program 2.0! 

The purpose of this new training program is to prepare liaisons to 1) identify discrimination and 2) assist/support complainants in filing a complaint with the appropriate agency. This 4-hour training will focus on four main components: 

"Places of Public Accommodation" under the D.C. Human Rights Act Factsheet and Guidance on the New Definition

This document is a factsheet and guidance provided by the D.C. Office of Human Rights (OHR) regarding legislative changes made to the definition of “place of public accommodation” under the D.C. Human Rights Act of 1977 (DCHRA). This document may be used for educational purposes only and not as legal advice to apply to a particular situation. Any person or entity in need of legal advice should consult an attorney.
