The DC Office of Human Rights launched its two-month effort to promote gender equality in October 2015. An advertising campaign featuring seven women is appearing throughout the Metro system until November 2015, and the TEDxMidAtlantic salon EVE: Everyone Values Equality was held on November 16, 2015.
Gender Equality Campaign - #WomenAreEqualDC
The #WomenAreEqualDC gender equality campaign features seven women from diverse race and ethnicities, religions, sexual orientations and gender identities. The campaign aims to raise awareness on civil rights protections for women in the workplace, including women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. A special thank you to Kim Gaviria of Marbury Road Photography for taking these powerful #WomenAreEqualDC campaign photos.
