Know Your Rights: People Experiencing Homelessness

On Wednesday April 6, 2016, the DC Office of Human Rights (OHR) and DC Office of Police Complaints (OPC) will provide a joint training targeted towards DC’s homeless communities. OHR will discuss discrimination in public accommodations (places of business, public services, etc.) based on personal appearance and place of residence (including lack of residence), and DCPC will discuss police misconduct against the homeless. This training is free and open to the public and will take place at the MLK Library at 901 G St NW, room A-5, from 10am-12pm.
