An agency Language Access Coordinator (LAC) is the designated employee of a covered entity with major public contact who coordinates and supervises his/her agency’s Language Access activities and any other Language Access related endeavors undertaken to comply with the provisions of the Language Access Act including, but not limited to, creating and implementing an agency biennial language access plan. An agency Language Access Point of Contact (LAPOC) is the designated employee of a covered entity (minimal public contact) that is responsible for ensuring that the covered entity complies with the Act.
