English Vinglish Film Screening

Last Date:

Shashi's experiences as an English Language Learner echo those of many immigrants in Washington, DC. Fifteen percent (15%) of District residents speak a language other than English at home, a figure that includes students, working adults, and the elderly. The Mayor's Office on Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs (OAPIA) and Many Languages One Voice (MLOV) have partnered to bring "English Vinglish" to Landmark's E Street Cinema.
