Office of Human Rights and the Office on Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs Present Legal Information Fair

OHR and OAPIA host free Legal Information Fair in celebration of Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month.

In Celebration of Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month, the DC Office of Human Rights and the Office on Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs will host a free Legal Information Fair from 11am to 4pm on Saturday, May 9, 2009. The event will be held at the Historical Society of Washington, DC located at 701 K Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001.

Non-profit organizations as well as DC government agencies have been invited to share information with attendees and explain services that they provide. American Association of Retired Persons, ACLU, Asian Pacific Islander Domestic Violence Resource Project, Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center, are a few of those that will be present.
