Community Forums

In order to inform the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities (DCCAH) programming, we are seeking to:

  • Engage in discussion about the long-term sustainability of the arts and humanities in the District of Columbia
  • Create working sessions with the community to inform the grants process
  • Expand outreach to residents and cultural communities
  • Keep record of suggestions and recommendations provided to further inform future DCCAH program and activities

Mayor-Elect Bowser’s Transition Team has released the schedule for public engagement forums that will start in December. The forums are designed to take input from residents to ensure they have a voice on some of the biggest challenges facing the District.

Forums will cover Public Safety; Health, Human Services and Homelessness; Affordable Housing; Education; Economic Development and Jobs; Arts and the Creative Economy; Open and Good Government and Full Democracy; and Transportation.

All public engagement forums will take place at One Judiciary Square, 441 4th St NW.  Can’t make it?  Share your ideas though the following link.  Let your voice be heard, submit your ideas here
