Making Math Fun Using Art: Math Quilts Workshop

Last Date:

Bring your kids to join local Artist Karen O. Brown. They will use their own creativity to make art while exploring math and design ideas.

Using brightly colored card-stock paper, kids will make cool creations that explore math concepts such as patterns, symmetry, shapes, fractions, and even geometry. The individual squares created will be put together to form a public art “quilt” that will display in our library.

Kids ages 6-13.

Space is limited.
