Training for Mandated Reporters

OSSE’s Division of Elementary, Secondary and Specialized Education (ESSE), in collaboration with the DC Office of the Attorney General (OAG)and the DC Child and Family Services Agency (CFSA), will host several trainings on Feb 4, April 13 and June 9. Mandated reporters are professionals obligated by the federal Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act and DC law to report known or suspected incidents of child abuse and neglect. In DC, mandated reporters include school officials, teachers, athletic coaches, counselors, social service workers, and other direct care professionals.
