Office of the City Administrator (CA) (October 2012 – April 2013) At the Office of the City Administrator, I provided technical support for the Mayor’s Task Force on Power Line Undergrounding and also for the Mayor’s Task Force on the Prevention of Flooding in the Bloomingdale Area. My duties also included researching and drafting a Comprehensive Food Service Plan.
- Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) (April 2012 – October 2012) At MPD, I researched public policy proposals for the Department and provided benchmarks based off of procedures at police departments in other similar jurisdictions to the District. I also conducted internal audits and performance reviews. My role required me to track proposed litigation within the City Council affecting public safety matters and to draft testimony for staff to present to the Council on issues pertaining to bicycle and pedestrian safety.
