1) Executive Office of the Mayor - Mayor's Office of Budget and Finance (MOBF) - (October 2012 – April 2013) At MOBF, I helped the Mayor's Capital Budget Director and the Capital Budget Team to put together Mayor Gray's proposed FY 2014 to FY 2019 Capital Improvements Plan. I tracked agency requests for capital project enhancements in the District of Columbia and created scoring sheets for the Deputy Mayors and City Administrator to use when evaluating the proposed capital projects of government agencies. Also, I drafted Reprogramming Memorandums for projects within the FY2013 capital budget.
- District Department of the Environment, Office of Policy and Sustainability (DDOE) – (November 2011 – April 2012) At DDOE, I served as Co-Project Manager for the Mayor’s 20-year Comprehensive Sustainability Initiative as part of a four-person interagency team. We planned and executed a public participation process with 1600+ stakeholders, which resulted in the Mayor's Vision Plan for a Sustainable DC. In the process, I led a 50-member working group to propose a vision statement, goals, action items, and performance indicators that address the sustainability of natural systems, open space/parks, wildlife, habitat, and biodiversity in the District.
